Capital 4 Impact Foundation aims to create market-based solutions to development challenges, delivering long-lasting social impact for communities, alongside financial returns for investors.
Developing and emerging markets hold immense potential for growth, but only 21% of impact investments flow towards Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East and Northern Africa, and Latin America. Businesses in the global south thus lack access to capital which constrains their ability to grow.

What do we invest in?
Capital 4 Impact will work through the network of Plan International who has long-standing presence in priority markets, access to local asset managers, existing partnerships with the private sector, authorities, investors and donors and concessional capital, and a strong governance and due diligence setup.
Capital 4 Impact Foundation also has an unwavering commitment to gender lens investing, to unlock the vast economic potential that lies in investing with a gender lens, propelling us towards a more prosperous future. We will apply this gender lens to our investment across our impact priorities: climate action, decent work, quality of education and health and wellbeing.
