Capital 4 Impact Foundation leverages local knowledge and partnerships to create social impact and return on investment
Capital 4 Impact Foundation is founded by Plan Denmark, working through the global network of Plan International. Capital 4 Impact Foundation offers a unique combination of investment expertise and deep understanding of what it takes to achieve impact for vulnerable communities in developing and emerging markets.
Our mission is to work beyond traditional development finance, mobilizing capital to invest in the most promising businesses and opportunities, with a gender-lens. By leveraging our presence and partnerships, we aim to bring social impact to scale while creating return on investment.
Who can invest?
The foundation’s subsidiary Capital 4 Impact ApS will be registered with the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority as a manager of alternative investment funds (FAIF). This means that it will be possible to receive investments from professional and semi-professional private investors who wish to invest a minimum of EUR 100,000, such as Danish foundations, family offices and private companies.
